And when it comes to the icon it must be professional and something classy. I don’t like apps with generic names as I prefer something unique. So even before trying an app some of them get filtered out. I select my mobile apps based on some criteria like – name, icon, design, and the usability. Then I continued my quest for that perfect task manager app and finally landed on Todoist’s iTunes page. It’s a good alternative to Google Tasks but I had to switch back to Google Tasks as it lacked a web version and I experienced few syncing issues. Recently I switched to the award winning to do list app Any.do. Because they haven’t updated it for several years, there’s no mobile app, and they haven’t even updated its favicon (it’s ugly now). It may be the preferred task manager of Matt Cutts but I’m pretty sure that Google Tasks will be among Google’s Spring cleaning list someday. Though Google hasn’t discontinued Google Tasks I would say it’s obsolete. I don’t know how many times have I changed my preferred task manger app.
